Our Club Mission
The German Shorthaired Pointer Club of Minnesota is charged with protecting the breed standard and hosting a wide variety of events to further the education and preservation of the breed.
Conformation
Conformation dog shows are a venue in which owners and breeders may exhibit their dogs to be evaluated by an AKC certified judge on how well they conform to a breed standard.
Hunt Tests and Trials
Hunting Tests for Pointing Breeds were developed so people would have an opportunity to demonstrate a dogs ability to perform under actual hunting conditions.
Rally and Obedience
Obedience and Rally trials demonstrate the dog’s ability to follow commands and work happily with humans.
Agility
Dog agility is a sport where you direct your dog through a pre-set obstacle course within a certain time limit.
